About the role
The Associate Medical Director, Behavioral Health supports the practice management of the Psychiatrists within the Behavioral Health practice.
What you'll do
- Reviewing clinical documentation for accuracy, clinical judgment, and adherence to evidence-based protocols and workflows.
- Reviewing dashboards of quality metrics, identifying potential issues, and alerting appropriate managers.
- Recommending and assisting with individual performance improvement programs when necessary.
- Management of clinician escalations and contract compliance issues when necessary.
- Identifying appropriate projects for quality improvement and leading teams toward quality goals on identified projects
- Assistance with clinician communications and practice announcements.
