About the role
As a BlinkRx Pharmacist, you are the clinical backbone of our closed-door facility. You will verify prescriptions with speed and precision, provide proactive phone-based patient counseling, and collaborate with prescribers to keep medications moving without compromising safety.
What you'll do
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug-drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
- Validate prescription data entry performed by pharmacy technicians, ensuring transcription accuracy from provider orders and transfer records
- Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a closed-door fulfillment environment, confirming accuracy of drug, dose, quantity, NDC, and labeling prior to release for shipment
- Perform daily prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to identify and resolve clinical flags before fulfillment
- Manage specialty medication handling requirements including cold-chain verification
