About the role
This role steps away from day-to-day patient care to focus on business operations and people management. You will manage a team of pharmacists and/or leads and ensure clinical safety and quality in a highly regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Manage the day-to-day performance of a pharmacy operations team, including pharmacists and/or leads, as a primary duty.
- Provide regular performance feedback and longer-term career development guidance, coaching and sponsoring direct reports toward their next stage of growth.
- Drive hiring and oversee onboarding, ensuring candidates are qualified and aligned with company culture and operational standards.
- Address underperformance promptly through coaching, improvement plans, or, when necessary, termination processes.
- Develop and calibrate leads, where applicable, so they can run front-line operations independently.
