About the role
As the Histotechnologist Supervisor you will oversee the activities of the lab and Signatera team that is cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist view. The individual is responsible for supervising and participating in operations of the histology lab.
What you'll do
- In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Histology department
- Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner
- Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department
- Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage
- Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed
