Contract Software Engineer, Full Stack

About the role
This is a six-month hybrid (one day a week onsite in San Carlos, CA) contract role with hourly compensation . There is potential to extend or convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.
What you'll do
- Work closely with the architecture and product teams to drive complex system design
- Perform code reviews and mentor the development team with best practices
- Make key design and technical implementation decisions on complex systems and help guide engineering vision
- Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, and transform them into highly scalable and reliable, developer-friendly REST microservice APIs
- Design, build, and maintain highly sustainable systems to support our business applications, including data pipelines and analytics services on Snowflake
