About the role
The Medical Technical Writer is responsible for developing accurate, comprehensive, and compelling medical and claims documentation that supports patients in obtaining appropriate healthcare services, benefits, and approvals.
What you'll do
- Create medical and legal documentation with accuracy and a focus on fostering positive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Efficiently manage a high volume of claims on a weekly basis, producing 50-60 letters per month.
- Provide continuous support by reviewing patient records and identifying additional health issues to maximize claim approvals and benefits.
- Maintain high standards to build and sustain patient trust.
- Clearly communicate to ensure that patient expectations are aligned with what is realistically achievable.
- Apply technical skills, including application of health science literature, to secure prompt and successful claim approvals.
