About the role
The Senior Accountant plays an important role in supporting the financial health and sustainability of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) and its affiliated organizations.
What you'll do
- Support the organization’s overall financial health by maintaining accurate financial information and following strong financial management practices.
- Prepare and explain financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and other information to help leaders and teams understand performance and make informed decisions.
- Support budgeting, grant financial management, and ongoing monitoring of resources to help departments plan effectively and meet funding requirements.
- Serve as a financial partner to colleagues across the organization by providing guidance, analysis, and tools that make financial processes easier to understand and manage.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reviewing financial transactions.
- Help maintain Finance resources, processes, and tools while supporting compliance, audits, reporting, and other organizational financial requirements.
